By becoming a Parish Councillor you become someone your community will look to for unbiased guidance and support.
You do not need qualifications to become a Parish Councillor, just experience, skills and knowledge that best represent your local community.
A Parish Councillor has a responsibility to attend monthly meetings (usually the second Thursday evening of the month). Some Parish Councillors take on additional responsibilities representing the Parish on other forums or community groups.
